The Rix Rax Flat is designed to mount flat against the bottom of the layout, giving you more room under the layout. This photo shows a different approach to mounting the Rix Rax Flat. Instead of mounting it under the layout with the wire running up to the turnout, we mounted it on top next to the turnout. (in a staging yard) We ran the piano wire from the turnout to the top hole in the pivot arm. The fulcrum can still be used to adjust the throw. 628-0005 -
